Balloon Colour Combo: Life’s a Beach

Summertime calls for bright and fun colours! Although 2020 has been a “beach” to say the least, we have been doing a fairly good job of keeping the number of Covid-19 cases relatively low here in Toronto – enough that further restrictions are being lifted, and we are another step closer to being at full party force!

But before that happens, we are available for the more intimate gatherings. Here is a setup we did for a pair of twins celebrating their 4th birthday, using colours inspired by the beach itself.

We wanted to create a setup that brought back memories of Steph’s wedding – incorporating the same florals used on her big day, and a handwritten globe used as a guestbook at her bridal shower.

Balloon Colour Combo: Eucalyptus Garden

Muted earthy tones give us some major wedding vibes, and we are here for all of it! We’ve had many requests on how to achieve the balloon colours used in our most popular work to date, so we’re here to drop the knowledge for you to try it yourself.

To give you an idea of our planning process – in our Pinterest image (yes, you can pin it!), we have the main colour palette that inspired our balloon colour choices.

We then had to find the balloon colours that best matched – whether they came as-is, or we had to double-stuff them. Double-stuffed colours are achieved when layering two balloons together – think of it like mixing two paint colours to create a new one.
