Frequently Asked Questions
With demand at an all-time high, we will not be refunding deposits going forward as we are turning down other opportunities to save the date/times specifically for your event.
However, you can transfer the deposit to an alternative date up to 6 months after the original booked date.
With the exception of prop rentals/stands, you are more than welcome to keep the balloons for yourself! Please note that clients are responsible for the teardown and transport of the balloons post-event.
We only use the highest quality latex balloons available for all of our installs (Qualatex, Sempertex and Tuftex) – and they are 100% biodegradable. Latex is harvested from latex trees using a process that does not require chopping the trees down.
Although these balloons are biodegradable, we dispose of them responsibly and we urge our clients to do the same when tearing down themselves. In relation to this, we do NOT support the release of any helium balloons due to their potential harmful impact on wildlife when not disposed of responsibly.
When using foil balloons, we recycle when possible as they can last for months.
Keep air-filled balloon displays at room temperature and out of direct sunlight at all times if possible. Balloons do not like the sun and heat – especially darker colours that absorb the heat. We cannot guarantee the life of balloons in outdoor settings.
Float times vary by size, material, the environment they’re kept in and added weight such as vinyl decals, accents and custom colour balloons. All of our latex helium balloons are treated with Ultra Hi-Float to help extend their float time. If kept in a room temperature environment and out of direct sunlight, the balloons can float for a few days up to a couple of weeks.
Once in your possession, please avoid having the balloons touch any surfaces – like the walls or ceiling – as sharp objects can easily puncture them. Helium balloons are more inflated to their maximum size to extend float time, therefore more prone to popping vs. air-filled balloons.
Our quotes do not include teardown service unless requested or prop rentals are booked. Alternatively, we leave safety pins behind with our business cards to help with teardown.
For custom balloon colours such as pastel shades, each balloon we inflate requires layering two different coloured balloons together by hand (they do not come already pre-stuffed) to achieve the custom colours – so along with extra time required, doubling up the balloons will double the material cost.⠀

However, as a result, double-stuffing will give the balloons a more solid look. You are also investing in something that is a bit more unique, as the possibilities are endless with so many different custom colours to choose from!
While we prefer the look of custom double-stuffed colour combos and florals combined, we understand that the pricing doesn’t fall within everyone’s budget. So what’s the best alternative? Single-stuffed (colours that come as-is) balloons. Contact us for more info!
